Care Instructions
Glass Baby Bottles
- Before first use, disinfect the bottle, teat and accessories by leaving them in boiling water for 5 minutes.
- After every use, the bottle, teat and accessories should be cleaned thoroughly under hot running water or with gentle washing detergent regularly (by leaving them in hot water for up to 3 minutes).
- Do not put the glass baby bottles, teats or accessories into a pressure cooker or microwave.
- While the glass baby bottles are dishwasher proof, heavy detergents can damage the material. As such, gentle dishwasher detergents or hand washing is recommended (particularly for the teats and plastic components).
- Harsh dishwashing chemicals may cause the print on the bottles to fade over time.
- Although the glass is temperature resistant, it is best not to subject the glass to extreme temperature changes (for example: placing a hot glass bottle into icy water or vice versa) as this may cause the glass to crack.
- Check regularly for scratches or chips in the glass and if you find any damage, please discard immediately.
- If you see any scratches or cracks on the glass bottle - please check thoroughly and discard as appropriate.
Feeding Teats
- Always test the teat and bottle before every use.
- To test the teat, move it in different directions to ensure that it is sufficiently rupture-proof.
- Do not leave the teat in direct sunlight or heat, and do not leave it in disinfectant for longer than recommended (as this may weaken the teat).
- Change the teat immediately on the first sign of damage.
- For safety and hygiene reasons, teats should be replaced every 2 months.
